Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland who works with individuals and families throughout the lifespan. Her integrative treatment approach includes play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Prior to joining the group, Stephanie worked as a therapist in private practice as well as a clinical specialist who assessed and stabilized clients in crisis. She earned her MA in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Trauma Studies from Eastern University. She is currently pursuing her Registered Play Therapy Credential and is proficient in Spanish. She strives to make therapy a safe space where she can work together with her clients on developing healthier coping skills and resiliency. In her free time, Stephanie plays tennis, is an avid reader, enjoys horseback riding, knitting blankets, and learning about forensic science. Stephanie is an independent contractor for Bethesda Play Therapy and Healing Center.
