Stephanie is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland who works with individuals and families across the lifespan. She uses an integrative approach that includes play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy, and she is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for both children and adults.
Stephanie’s professional background includes work in private practice and as a clinical specialist supporting clients in crisis. She earned her M.A. in Clinical Counseling with a concentration in Trauma Studies from Eastern University and is currently pursuing her Registered Play Therapist™ credential and EMDR Therapist certification. She is also proficient in Spanish.
Stephanie strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel comfortable working collaboratively toward healing, resilience, and healthier coping skills. In addition to individual and family therapy, she facilitates engaging social skills groups throughout the year that help participants build from foundational skills to more advanced, real-world social success.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys tennis, reading, horseback riding, knitting blankets, and exploring forensic science.
