Alondra is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Maryland who values providing a safe and culturally sensitive space to all of her clients. She believes in empowering her clients to achieve their goals and their full potential through an integrative approach. Alondra is fluent in both Spanish and English, has a certification in Somatic Embodiment and Regulation Strategies, and is working towards her Registered Play Therapist credential. She works with individuals ranging from children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families. She received her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. In the past, Alondra worked as a therapeutic coach with children and as a crisis counselor. She provides therapeutic support for individuals navigating a wide range of mental health and life concerns, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, health anxiety, relationship, social, and family challenges, substance use, trauma, behavioral issues, life transitions, and related areas of personal growth and wellbeing. Alondra’s treatment modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, person centered, non-directive and directive play therapy, and relational-cultural therapy. In her free time, Alondra enjoys spending time with family, listening to music, reading, exercising and exploring new coffee shops. Alondra is an Independent Contractor for Bethesda Play Therapy and Healing Center.
