Bryonna is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland who works with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of life stages. She received her M.S. in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland and is currently pursuing her Registered Play Therapist™ credential. Bryonna’s professional background includes community mental health and residential counseling with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders.
Bryonna provides culturally responsive care and uses an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She specializes in supporting clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, and adjustment disorders. She is particularly passionate about incorporating brain-body approaches to help children strengthen emotional regulation, build resilience, and experience healing and growth through play and connection. Bryonna brings creativity into her work by using engaging, expressive, and individualized approaches that help clients connect, heal, and grow in ways that feel natural and meaningful to them.
Bryonna also values working with parents and offers support through a collaborative, strengths-based approach that helps build confidence and resilience. Throughout the year, she facilitates interactive social skills groups designed to support children in developing both foundational and more advanced interpersonal skills.
In her free time, Bryonna enjoys crocheting, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her growing family and friends.
